AN American football star who became an Irish dancing sensation has been killed in a road accident.
Alex Collins, 28, died on Sunday when his motorcycle collided with a SUV in Florida.
His touchdown dance celebrations for the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens where he showed deft footwork with reel routines went viral.
Collins started jigs and reels in Florida in 2016 when he was introduced to it by his high school football coach's 15-year-old daughter.
Friends revealed he was initially sceptical but joined Drake School of Irish Dance in Fort Lauderdale and then integrated it as part of his fitness regime.
