A MAN was jailed yesterday after he threw an 86-year-old woman into a wheelie bin in a drink and drug-fuelled attack.
Alex Bailey, 30, also punched and kicked Marie MacGowan in the ordeal in Dublin. The victim thought she was "going to be dead".

A MAN punched, kicked and threw an 86-year-old woman head first into a wheelie bin in a drink and drug-fuelled attack.
His victim, Marie MacGowan, who has dementia and had become lost on her way home from a walk, said she thought she was going to die.
Alex Bailey, 30, sat quietly in the dock yesterday as Judge Orla Crowe went through the shocking evidence of the incident before locking him up for two-and-a-half years.
