BRIAN STACK has warned that Roscommon aren't safe from relegation yet despite storming to the top of Division 1.
Roscommon's successful Spring rising means they are the only side on full points from three games to date.
Skipper Stack said: "Who would have thought it? But we have some big games coming down the track.
The last time a Division 1 side was relegated on six points was Cork back in 2016, who went down on score difference in a three-way tie.
Davy Burke's Rossies travel to Clones next weekend to take on a Monaghan side in need of the points with one win from their three games to date.
A draw would almost certainly leave them safe from relegation.
The last time Roscommon managed to survive in Division 1 was back in 2016 under joint bosses Fergal O'Donnell and current Mayo boss, Kevin McStay.
