The cycle road on Oxford Road is one of the most popular routes for cyclists with over 6,000 people logged cycling there on nine separate days in a three-week period between September and October.
The highest usage was on October 10 when 6,980 people were recorded cycling there - over 1,100 more than the previous record high of 5,862 set in October 2019.
With cycling options improving, the council says work continues to try and make Manchester a zero-carbon city by 2038 and add more cycleways.
