Pep says striker cried foul over the lack of free kicks awarded

Haaland produced a match-winning performance in a 5-1 win that take the Blues three points closer to retaining their Premier League title and becoming the first to win four in a row. Julian Alvarez added a late goal as City responded emphatically to Arsenal's lunchtime win over Bournemouth.

However, City's No.9 did not look happy when he was taken off in the final 10 minutes of the game.

Guardiola exchanged words with his striker but Haaland was less than pleased as he made his way to the bench.

City's manager insisted Haaland was happy with how the game had gone but had been irked by what he saw as a lack of fouls given to him.

Despite that frustration, Haaland was still able to complete a lap of honour around the Etihad to celebrate the win and returned to the dressing room in high spirits.
