Brierley: 'Salford will be stronger after injury woes'

AS a lifelong Salford fan, Ryan Brierley knows all about the difficult times the club has faced on and off the field over the years.

At the moment, the Red Devils - the smallest squad in Super League - are doing it tough with injuries, but the Scotland international fullback believes the group is growing stronger week by week and will benefit this adversity in the long run.

"When you're going through training you don't really notice who is there and who's not, but then after the Huddersfield game, I looked to my right and saw how many players were dressed in suits and not playing," said Brierley.

"We don't stress about that kind of stuff, we understand that it's a tough period for us healthwise, but hopefully going through this period will stand us in good stead.
