MANCHESTER-BASED electric vehicle charging specialist Be.EV has secured a £55m cash boost from NatWest and Germany's KfW IPEXBank to grow its UK network of chargers.
The group says the 'milestone' deal for the EV sector will help it grow its network to more than 1,000 rapid and ultra-rapid charge points by the end of this year.
Meanwhile Be.EV has also won more support from its existing backer Octopus Energy Generation to support its growth. It says the deals are votes of confidence in the health of the electric vehicle sector.
