Sunday Brunch star Simon announced earlier this month Greens in Didsbury would close after a rent hike and rising costs.
He and business partner Simon Connolly opened the acclaimed vegetarian restaurant on Lapwing Lane 33 years ago.
They went on to open a second Greens restaurant, in Sale, which remains open.
