Chelsea's red-hot Cole is leaving Phil behind

Pep Guardiola allowed the former City prospect to depart the club for Chelsea last year in a £40m deal.

And since his move to Stamford Bridge, Palmer has become one of the most impressive players in the Premier League.

As well as excelling for the west Londoners, he also shined for England at Euro 2024, despite not starting any matches. With Foden and Palmer most likely competing for the same spot behind the striker at the Three Lions, Hoddle has tipped the latter to be even better than his former team-mate.
