Curry suffered a nasty hamstring injury in the Premiership semi-final win over Leicester in May and therefore missed out on World Cup selection. He was asked how his recovery has gone with the start of the Premiership season just over a month away.
“Good. The good thing about sport and rugby is there is always something next to go after. I started running two weeks ago. Hopefully I will be fit for the start of the Premiership but to be honest I am not putting any pressure on myself.
“With what I have learnt from past injuries and this one it is all well and good giving yourself time and dates but these things sort themselves out. If it is a day to push it I will push it but if it is a day to hold back you have got to listen to your body.”
