The Belgian, who was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia during the transfer window, has less than one year left on his contract and could depart for free next summer.
Speaking after the 3-1 win over West Ham, De Bruyne addressed his future and admitted he has not been 'entertained' by any of the rumours linking him with a move away.
The 32-year-old also revealed that he is 'sure' that there will be talks over a possible new contract in the coming weeks.
That has no doubt given City fans a lift, but at some point Pep Guardiola must think about planning for life without the superstar. City could look at signing a new No.10 with a view to replacing De Bruyne in the long-term or they might be able to look within, with a certain Jack Grealish more than capable to fill in his role.
