Afzal Khan, Labour MP for Manchester Rusholme, has written an open letter to the police and local housing association over issues reportedly blighting the Bethnall Drive estate in Fallowfield.
Mr Khan, who penned the letter with other local councillors, claims children have been 'beaten up' and 'threatened with knives in the street.
