Ronald Webster, known as 'Ronnie, 81, left his Oldham home on Walkers Road before he was seen catching a bus to Huddersfield on Thursday last week.
His granddaughter sall previously told the M.E.N. that the disappearance of Ronald, who was missing for more than week without his medication, phone and with just the clothes on his back, left his family 'broken!
The unexplained disappearance launched a national search, but police and Ronald's family have now confirmed that he was found yesterday safe and well in the Piccadilly Gardens Wetherspoons.
Paige said: "He's absolutely fine he was just scared of going back to my gran I think! He knows he's in trouble!"
