Green shoots grow into £140m success

A CHILDREN’S entertainment business which was founded during the first Covid-19 lockdown is celebrating a record year after securing additional funding and creating jobs.

Manchester-based Green Bean Studios was set up by author Anita Frost in September 2020 and provides entertainment for children to play, learn and develop through the areas of retail, music, TV, film and immersive events/ attractions.

Earlier this year, the company raised an extra £180,000, while its intellectual property portfolio jumped from £68m in 2021 to £140m.

The business also increased its team from 22 to 26 employees and began the process of achieving B Corp status.
