THE medical condition of one of the men seen in a video at Manchester Airport which led to a police officer being suspended has worsened, according to his family's solicitor.
Akhmed Yakoob provided an update at a press conference in Rochdale yesterday where he said that the men in the video come from a family with a serving GMP officer in it.
He has named one of the men involved in the incident as Mohammed Fahir, asking the public to 'pray for his wellbeing' as doctors deal with a 'cyst on his brain'.
Greater Manchester Police, which was called to reports of an assault at the airport on Tuesday, has suspended one of the officers involved. The force said that four men were arrested during the incident which left a police officer with a broken nose.
