ANDY Burnham has said that politicians 'shouldn't be part of a rush to judgement' with incidents like the viral Manchester Airport video.
Footage emerged last week of a Greater Manchester Police officer appearing to kick and stamp on the head of a man as he lay face down during an arrest at a car park at Manchester Airport's Terminal 2.
The footage sparked multiple protests across our region, with a number of politicians and MPs also speaking out on the footage.
On Saturday, the M.E.N. published new exclusive footage which appeared to capture the violent scenes that erupted in the lead-up to the incident. The clip showed a group of people standing by ticket machines, with a man in a light blue outfit facing one of the machines.
It appeared a male and two female police officers who attempted to restrain two men were involved in a series of strikes and punches, with one of the female officers being knocked to the ground after a hit to the face, before one man was tasered.
An officer and a man in blue then appeared to grapple until the latter lay still on the ground with a woman knelt by his side.
This was when the officer appeared to kick the man.
