A COUNCILLOR has hit out at scammers after his friend was conned into paying £380 for Peter Kay tickets from a bogus website that no longer exists.
Coun Andy Morgan, a cabinet member on Bolton Council, said a friend had purchased the tickets from the website www.peterkaytickets.com 'in good faith?
The pair were due to go to this weekend's show in Liverpool. However, the tickets to see the comic at M&S Bank Arena failed to materialise with the website seemingly no longer in existence.
Emails to the site have been returned, saying the address is no longer in use.
