Yousef was killed by his friend Joshua Molnar, who says he acted in selfdefence.
Yousef, a bright pupil at Manchester Grammar School from a humble background in Burnage, was stabbed through the heart by Molnar following a bust-up on Gorse Bank Lane in Hale Barns in March 2019.
Yousef had been out with Molnar and another friend, Adam Chowdhary, both from privileged backgrounds, riding their bikes and smoking cannabis.
Chowdhary called a drug dealer to purchase more cannabis but at the subsequent rendezvous two 'heavies' of the dealer beat up Molnar and took his bike.
About 90 minutes later after an unsuccessful search for the bike, Yousef was fatally stabbed. He died later in hospital.
Molnar has admitted lying to police at the scene by suggesting the attackers had fled in a car. Chowdhary told police in a 999 call he had seen a 'whip, or a car, leave the scene, but he denies lying.
Yesterday, the second inquest into the tragedy drew towards a close after three days of evidence at Stockport Coroners Court, with lawyers representing Molnar, Chowdhary and Yousef's family making final submissions to coroner Geraint Williams.
