POLICE have launched a murder investigation after an 18-year-died in hospital two weeks after he suffered serious stab injuries.
Emergency services were scrambled to Abingdon Avenue in Unsworth near Whitefield on March 28.
A man was said to have sustained a serious injury to his arm and was taken to hospital.
Now police have confirmed that, two weeks after the attack, the victim has died in hospital of his injuries and a murder inquiry is under way. Before the death, four people were charged but Greater Manchester Police said the charges will be “updated” following the death of the young man, who has not been named.
