'DRINK SPIKE' SEX-ATTACK VICTIM SPEAKS OF TERROR WITH BRUTE STILL AT LARGE AFTER TWO YEARS
NEAL KEELING
My body felt so weak, it felt like he was trying to get on top of me...

TWO years ago a girls' night out in Manchester's Northern Quarter ended in terror for a group of women.

One was sexually assaulted and another slapped as the pair desperately tried to make the man responsible leave their flat.

The prime suspect for the attack still remains at large. It is suspected the victim had her drink spiked before she and two friends were followed by a man as they left a bar.

Callously he gave the impression he was concerned about the state of the victim who was semi-conscious and walked them to their apartment in the Green Quarter and invited himself in.

During several hours inside the flat the man attempted to rape the victim and hit her friend.

Ten months ago GMP made a major appeal in the M.E.N. for help to identify a man who they wish to speak to in connection with the incident. But no progress has been made despite the release of clear CCTV showing the man walking through a bar.

The incident happened some time between 4am and 6am on May 14, 2022 and left the women terrified.

The victim of the sex attack has suffered anxiety, depression and flashbacks.

The footage of the suspect has been circulated nationally to other forces but there has been no breakthrough.
