Emergency services descended on Aspinall Crescent in Little Hulton, Salford, at around 9.30pm on Sunday following a 'suspected firearms discharge. Greater Manchester Police said shots had been blasted at a house.
The victim was rushed to hospital from the scene where he remained with serious injuries. A scene remained in place throughout yesterday amid ongoing investigations.
Greater Manchester Police have implemented a Section 60 stop and search order across Worsley and Little Hulton. The order gives officers the powers to search anybody within a specified area.
