THIS is the goosebumps moment when Ellie Leach's hometown pub found out she had won Strictly Come Dancing 2023.
The boozer in Audenshaw was packed with Ellie's family, friends and former Corrie co-stars all cheering her on to victory on Saturday.
The nail-biting moment just before she was announced as winner with her dance partner Vito Coppola was captured in this truly heartwarming video at The Snipe Pub. The pub then erupts in cheers when Strictly host Tess Daly named Ellie and Vito as the winners.
Ellie's family and friends, including her former Coronation Street costar Colson Smith and her famous Corrie cousin Brooke Vincent, are all seen assembled around the TV at the pub waiting for the results. The video was captured by another of Ellie's cousins, Maisie McDermott.
Brooke, who played Corrie's Sophie Webster, is seen literally biting her nails as she nervously awaits the result.
