SIR Jim Ratcliffe has vowed to return United to the top of English, European and world football after officially becoming a minority shareholder at the club.
Ratcliffe's investment into the Reds was officially confirmed on Sunday afternoon, following more than 13 months of negotiations.
The INEOS chief has is thought to have put £1.25bn into the club in return for a 25 per cent stake.
