A WOMAN on a Manchester-bound plane where 11 travellers were injured during ‘freak turbulence’ has said the experience was ‘so scary’, adding the plane felt like it was ‘just going to keep dropping’.
The woman said they’d been on the P&O Caribbean cruise charter flight from Barbados on Christmas Eve for about two hours before the ‘unexpected’ turbulence which she said ‘felt like Oblivion at Alton Towers’.
Passengers were diverted and forced to stay in Bermuda after 11 people were transported to hospital due to injuries sustained during the incident. Speaking to the M.E.N. yesterday, the passenger said the flight was ‘sheer chaos’.
