A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy has died in a reported fireplace accident while playing at his home.
Carter Walsh was left with serious injuries following the horror incident yesterday morning in Wigan.
The tot was pronounced dead a short time later having been rushed to hospital.
The M.E.N. understands the incident involved a fireplace and adjoining television which toppled over and left the child severely hurt.
A fundraising appeal has been set up in Carter’s memory, calling on people to donate to help his family.
