The England international has started on the bench in each of United's last three matches after recovering from illness, with Alejandro Garnacho shining in his absence.
Rashford will need to oust Garnacho if he is to reclaim his preferred role on the left wing or he will have to challenge Antony on the right flank if he is to return to the side.
The 26-year-old's form has been a concern for United all season, with Rashford only managing two goals in all competitions, one of which was a penalty, a dramatic drop-off from the 30 goals he netted during the last campaign.
