A PROCESSION will begin this year's Remembrance Sunday commemoration in Manchester city center before a service in St Peter's Square, it has been confirmed.
Along with the rest of the nation, Manchester will fall silent at 11 a.m. to remember those who have lost their lives in conflict.
Beforehand, a procession led by the combined Lancashire Artillery Volunteers and Greater Manchester Police Band will leave John Dalton Street at 10.25 am.
The civic procession will then depart from Mount Street at 10.45 am for the Cenotaph, led by the Scots Guards Association Pipe Band.
