A TEENAGER on her first girls' holiday abroad claimed she was forced to dump half of her holiday wardrobe after 'black mould' grew over clothes and shoes in a package hotel.
Molly McQuillan, from Rochdale, and her friends Paris and Morgan Mcintosh flew to Malia in Crete last month as a treat before heading to university.
The trio booked the two-week trip as a package deal through Jet2.
But Molly, 18, was left horrified after her £120 Nike trainers and some of her clothes were left covered in mould in their 'damp and smelly' hotel room.
She took shocking photos of items inside the hotel room caked in layers of a black furry substance - including the kettle, bin, shower curtain, clothes, shoes and even the ceiling.
The teenager said she, Paris and Morgan, both 21, were forced to bin more than £200 worth of clothes due to the 'infestation' - and are demanding Jet2 refund them for their £550 trip. She also raised concerns about health issues in the 'dangerous' room.
Molly said her and Morgan have developed a cough since returning to the UK on Saturday, September 9.
Jet2 said they were only made aware of the issue the day before the customers' departure and that they were now investigating.
Molly said: "It's disgusting. If they put a baby in there or people with health issues, it's dangerous.
"We don't know if they'll just wipe the walls and then it'll grow back again in two weeks. We've probably lost about £200 of stuff.
