The Women Enterprisers Fund will invest in women-led enterprises and will channel capital into India's MSME sector. The investment vehicle will prioritize investments in businesses that are owned, co-owned, or led by women.
"We are targeting a total fund size of ₹500 crore, with a base amount of ₹250 crore and an additional ₹250 crore allocated as a green shoe option," said Vijay Emmanuel, co-founder and CEO of Cinnamon Wealth.
The fund will focus on investments in sectors such as BFSI, consumer discretionary, dairy, fashion, chemicals, and healthcare.
"Healthcare, in particular, is a key vertical for us, with strong prospects for growth," said Emmanuel.
