EV players, Goyal to meet today, discuss infra-related issues

Stakeholders from the electric vehicle (EV) sector will hold a meeting with commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal in New Delhi on Friday on issues including infrastructure related to charging and battery swapping, people familiar with the matter said.

They said that officials from the Department of Heavy Industries are expected to attend the meeting. Representatives from Tata, Mahindra, Mercedes-Benz India, Hero MotoCorp and other companies have been invited to the deliberations, they added.
