CBSE revokes affiliation of 16 Delhi schools

The Central Board of Secondary Education has withdrawn affiliation of 21 schools in Rajasthan and Delhi due to significant numbers of non-attending students from classes IX-XII.
CBSE revokes affiliation of 16 Delhi schools

Of the 21 schools, 16 are in Delhi, while five of them are in Rajasthan's Kota and Sikar.

The board has also downgraded six schools in Delhi from senior secondary to secondary level after irregularities were observed during the surprise inspections.

This was informed by the board through an official notice dated November 6, 2024. The CBSE has conducted a series of surprise inspections across Rajasthan and Delhi on September 3. The assessments were conducted in 27 schools, affiliated with the Board.
