This operation targeted Prime Pulses Limited and associated entities in connection with a significant case of bank fraud, as reported by the ED in a statement released on Friday.
According to the ED’s Kolkata Zonal Office, the raids, conducted on June 29, were part of an ongoing investigation initiated based on First Information Reports (FIRs) filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against Prime Pulses Limited and others. The operation yielded substantial results, uncovering cash amounting to Rs 41 lakh and seizing a trove of incriminating documents, including property records and digital evidence.
