Illegal mining: Panchkula police announces reward of Rs 25,000 on accused Home Guard

The Panchkula police on Tuesday announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on Deepak Sharma, the accused home guard volunteer and main culprit of the infamous illegal sand mining racket unearthed by cops last week.

Sharma made a foiled attempt to get relief from the court as an additional District and Session Court has also dismissed an application of anticipatory bail filed by him.

Earlier, on Monday, the court had also dismissed the application of regular bail moved by Aadesh Kumar.
