In the present case, Applicants or Interveners Ms Kritika Garg and Ms Priyanjali Garg have argued that students who have prepared for years should not be subjected to the ordeal of rewriting the examination.

Therefore, the application filed has underscored that the NEET-UG examination is one of the toughest examination and should not be re-conducted just because certain allegations have been levelled.
It has been stated by the applicants, residents of Meerut that they got 705 and 690 marks respectively, solely on their own hard work and merit. The court noted that the present application has been filed in the Writ Petition seeking recall of the NEET-UG 2024 results and conduct of a fresh exam.
