The event was historic, marking the largest-ever gathering of the Indian-American community at the India House, underscoring the significance of the occasion and the shared values between the two nations.
Jaishankar began by highlighting the exceptional strength of the India-US relationship, describing it as being at an “all-time high.” He lauded the United States for its pivotal role in the success of the G20 summit, acknowledging the support and understanding provided by the US in making the event a resounding success.
While hosting the G20 summit, India demonstrated its diplomatic prowess, bringing together diverse nations for cooperation. Jaishankar noted that while the G20’s success may have been India’s in a literal sense, it was equally a testament to the India-US partnership.
