Barbaresco for winning warm-up

FORM: VAN VUUREN RUNNER COMES BACK AFTER A RESPECTABLE SEASON IN KZN.

The Highveld spring season is about to hit full steam and many trainers are using this period to get their charges ready for bigger things to come.

One of those runners is Barbaresco who is likely to have races such as the Grade 2 Onamission Charity Mile and Betway Summer Cup on his to-do list.

He was just below the best threeyear-olds in the country last season but he did well to run third in the Grade 1 Daily News 2000 at Hollywoodbets Greyville behind two extremely relented three-year-olds in Green With Envy and Flag Man.

He then was quite fancied to run well in both the Hollywoodbets Durban July and the World Pool Champions Cup and was only beaten 3.50 lengths and 5.60 lengths by Oriental Charm and Dave The King respectively.

Barbaresco makes his reappearance in Race 8 at Turffontein tomorrow and is weighted to win this Progress Plate over 1600m on the Inside track.

Clock's not ticking for TikTok

If the United States was so paranoid that China would be able to access so-called personal information from Americans through the social media platform, TikTok, why couldn't this suspected intelligence be used to solve cybercrimes and stop other potential threats, or was it just a matter of control and censoring?
