SELECTION POSERS

If Bafana Bafana want a precedent for following a sloppy home performance with a more positive away display a few days later, they need look no further than their last Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifying campaign.

Hugo Broos' side will face South Sudan in Juba this afternoon in their second 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Group K match (kick off 3pm), coming off the back of a 2-2 draw at home to Uganda last Friday.

It could have been worse for Bafana, as only a stoppage time goal from Orlando Pirates midfielder Thalente Mbatha earned them a point.
