What piqued the elder monk's curiosity was that the two seemed to be in the middle of a heated debate. Wanting to know if he could be of any help, the elder monk came near them and inquired.
'Sir, look at that flag,' the first monk spoke, pointing to a flagpole with a flag swing wildly. 'Won't you say that it's the flag that's fluttering in the wind?' The second monk immediately retorted, 'That's rubbish. It's the wind that's fluttering.'
