Mandya, Mysuru Tourists Disappointed as Forest Dept Bans Visitors at Its Lodges

Tourists who had come far from places to see the musical fountain at Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) Reservoir are left disappointed as the musical fountain show has been suspended due to the state mourning following the death of former PM Manmohan Singh.

Even the illumination of Mysuru Palace has been cancelled during the weekend as a mark of respect to the former PM.

As state mourning has been declared for seven days, Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Limited has restricted entry of tourists to the musical fountain till January first midnight. It is one of the major attractions for tourists at Brindavan Gardens.
