A tragic mass murder incident in Surat's Sarthana area has left the city in shock. The horrifying event took place at Surya Flats society around 9 am, where a young man, Smit Jivani, attacked his family with a knife, killing his wife and child, and seriously injuring his parents. Smit then attempted to end his own life by slitting his throat.
While Smit and his parents are undergoing treatment for their injuries, his wife and child succumbed to their wounds. The Sarthana police have launched an investigation into the incident and are probing the circumstances leading to this tragic act.
