The Dang District Dev Birsa Sena has submitted a memorandum to the Dang District Collector, urging the government to safeguard the customs, traditions, and rituals of tribal communities in the district.

The Sena emphasized the importance of preserving the cultural identity and ancestral practices of the tribal population, which constitutes the entirety of Dang district.

The memorandum highlights the unique cultural heritage of Dang's tribal communities, who are predominantly nature worshippers. For generations, these communities have honored their traditional deities, including Wad Dev, Nag Dev, Dungar Dev, Pan Dev, Anna Dev, Van Dev, Sury Dev, Adi Dev, Him Dev, Diwali Dev, and Holi Dev, among others.
