In a remarkable medical achievement, doctors from the Heart, Chest, and Vascular Surgery and Cancer Surgery departments at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Medical College Hospital, Raipur in Chhattisgarh have successfully removed a massive 5-kilogram tumor, saving the life of a 52-year-old woman.

The tumor, located near the heart and lungs, posed a significant threat to the patient's vital organs.

The team, led by Dr. Krishnakant Sahu from the Heart, Chest, and Vascular Surgery Department and Dr. Ashutosh Gupta from the Cancer Surgery Department, performed the intricate procedure, which required exceptional precision to avoid damaging the patient's heart and lungs.
