UK min Tulip denies Bangla claims of brokering N-deal

Ever since Bangladesh's former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy, and her niece Tulip Siddiq, who is a Labour MP and UK's Treasury Minister, have been implicated in the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant kickback scam to the tune of $5 billion, there have been protests and calls for accountability.

Tulip Siddiq has been questioned by the Cabinet Office's propriety and ethics team after Bangladesh's anti-corruption commission accused her and family members of embezzling billions for a nuclear power plant.
