He was speaking after chairing the district development coordination and monitoring committee's (DISHA) centrally sponsored schemes review in the city.
He said the union government has implemented a slew of programmes for the welfare of the people, and officials must ensure that central schemes reach all deserving beneficiaries. He also directed KIADB to expedite the process of handing over land to the Airport Authority of India for expansion of the Mysore Airport runway, besides providing land for South Western Railways for upgradation of the Naganahalli Railway Terminal.
