Aid to Ukraine from Russian frozen assets is theft: Moscow

The US Treasury Department's decision to disburse $20 billion to Ukraine using proceeds from Russia's frozen assets has been labeled as "common theft" by the Russian Foreign Ministry, state media reported Thursday.

"The US is funding Ukraine's bankrupt regime with $20 billion derived from immobilized Russian sovereign assets-essentially stolen by the Group of Seven. This amounts to outright theft," the ministry stated via TASS.
