The Surat sub-zonal unit of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth Rs1.84 crore tied to an ongoing investigation into allegedly illegal betting operations linked to CBTF247.com and T20 Exchange.

Assets worth ₹1.84 cr seized

According to the ED investigation, Amit Majithia, the promoter of CBTF, is a close associate of Saurabh Chandrakar, who is currently detained by the UAE authorities for alleged money laundering through the Mahadev betting app.

The attached properties are registered under the name of Rajesh Lakhani, the owner of Maitri Enterprises and VC Metals Pvt Ltd, who is the alleged actual beneficiary of the proceeds of crime from CBTF and T20 Exchange betting operations.
