Government is planning to make Bhopal a metropolitan city. In this regard, a 25-year plan will be prepared and accordingly infrastructure related works will be done. Under the proposed works of Bhopal Metropolitan Development Authority, action plan will be prepared for the development of areas of Raisen, Mandideep, Salamatpur, Sanchi, Rajgarh, Peelukhedi, Berasia, Sukhi Sevania.
The aforesaid decision was taken during the review meeting of development works of Bhopal held on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. CM underlined the need to search Link Road like options to reduce the traffic pressure in Bhopal.
