BJP govt's brake on Gehlot freebies

The BJP government in Rajasthan has discontinued two flagship schemes that were started by the previous Congress regime and stated that while existing beneficiaries will continue to avail benefits, no new registrations will be done. The two schemes include one which provided free smartphones to women and free electricity up to 100 units.
