Administrative error, says chief secretary
Prajakta Pol

Maharashtra's caretaker government has reversed its decision to allocate ₹10 crore to the state Waqf Board, in the face of political opposition. The government stated that the decision had been made due to an administrative error.

On November 28, 2024, the minority development department issued a government resolution (GR), allocating the funds for the financial year 2024-25 to improve the board's infrastructure and management. However, this move was met with strong opposition from Hindu groups and questions about whether a caretaker government had the authority to make such decisions.

A promising premise undone by predictable execution

The title Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega suggests a tantalizing premise-something noirish, audacious, or at least unconventional. Instead, the seven-episode series delivers a tepid rom-com that never quite fulfills its potential. For a show ostensibly about daring escapades and marital mishaps, it's puzzlingly timid, meandering into a predictable love story that feels more stale than sensational.
