The District Election Office states that the counting of votes will start at 8 am in the morning. It will start with the counting of postal ballot papers. If counting of postal ballots takes more than half an hour, in parallel mode counting of the EVM machines will start.
Counting supervisors and counting assistants appointed for counting work, persons authorized by the Commission, government officers-employees deployed on election duty, candidates, their polling agents and counting agents will be permitted with the admit card issued. Enumeration agents will sit only at their allotted tables. All movements are restricted.
